Drafting is considered to be the graphic language of the industrial world. Drafters develop clear, complete and accurate working plans, maps and detailed drawings based on rough sketches and specifications furnished by engineers, architects or designers. In today's technological world, computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems are the principle tool used to prepare drawings. This competency-based course prepares you for entry level employment. The course is delivered on-line. The drafting curriculum is certified by the American Design Drafting Association and maintains compliance with engineering and industry standards. Drafting and CAD technology is available online through the RODP program.
