Drafters develop clear, complete and accurate working plans, maps and detailed drawings based on rough sketches and specifications furnished by engineers, architects or designers. In today's technological world, computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems are the principle tool used to prepare drawings. This competency-based course prepares you for entry level employment. The course is delivered on-line. The drafting curriculum is certified by the American Design Drafting Association and maintains compliance with engineering and industry standards. Drafting and CAD technology is available online through the RODP program.
